Root Awareness

Healing, Transformation, and Wildly Sensitive Leadership

Welcome brave and sensitive soul. You may still be feeling lost, in a liminal space between the old life and the new and are ready to cross the next threshold. The time is now to permanently dissolve and transform root cause belief systems around your worthiness to receive abundance.

You long to know what it truly means to be the leader of your own life and relationships. Embodied freedom, pleasure, and creativity is your birthright, and happens when you are in alignment with soul, spirit, and Earth’s wisdom.

You are meant to inhabit your true place of belonging and your unique role within the wider web of life.

And together we can make this happen.

About Caroline (she/they)

Hi, I’m Caroline, storyteller, eco-therapist, leadership guide, and facilitator of transformation in the wild.

I am the founder of Root Awareness and a humble expert on what it takes to holistically heal, transform, and step into sovereign sensitive leadership that aligns with who you truly are instead of what society has taught you to be.

I have worked with people around the world as a holistic and transpersonal psychotherapist, group facilitator, eco-therapist, mentor, and leadership guide. My specialty is to support women and brave souls with healing from unresolved wounding and perfectionism in order to manifest the creative and abundant life in which they dream.

I also believe that when emerging and thriving leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs choose to embody their deepest selves and lead from integration, wholeness, and reciprocity, our Earth and greater collective community also heals and evolves.

If you are ready to commit to the path of the wild and sensitive leader, led by your body, intuition, and instinctual nature, then you are in the right place!

Wildly Sensitive Leadership

.Our experience has led us to provide a clear path which requires three core components of transformation.

  1. Conscious Creation:  In order to create the new path, we will dive deep together in order to heal root cause belief systems inherited from individual, family, and collective trauma.

  2. Embodied Sensitive Freedom:  You will gain the skills and education to root into your body and the Earth in order to spread your awareness and receive creative freedom, pleasure, and abundance. You will also develop an attuned sensitive and relational awareness to yourself and others.

  3. Powerful Leadership:  You will have the support and accountability to step into embodied and integrated leadership that flows directly from the Earth and your own inner power instead of from perfectionism, people pleasing and outside influence.

“I often hear the importance of self-care advocated, yet rarely if ever do I come across specific information on how to actually practice it. The practices Caroline shared provided a strong sense of the power of the natural world to support renewal, growth, and healing, and reminded me of how easily we can access this power.”

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge we are settlers living and adventuring on stolen land. Root Awareness is located in the Mancos Valley in Colorado in the heart of the four corners region and the Western Slope of the Continental Divide. Looking East and Northeast are the La Plata Mountains, and beyond them the headwaters of the Animas River deep in the San Juan Mountain range. To the Southwest is the butte of Mesa Verde, and beyond that, the iconic towering red rock canyons, rock bridges, and spires of the deserts of New Mexico and Utah. Some of our tall standing, four legged, and flying friends include Juniper, Pinon Pine, Aspen, deer, fox, coyote, bear, elk, magpie, owl, hawk, golden, and bald eagles.

At Root Awareness, we honor the indigenous people that walked and tended this land before us.

In Mancos, Colorado, the ancestral lands and territories were illegally taken from the Weeminuche Band of the Ute Nation of Indians, the Capote band of the Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Southern Ute) and Pueblo Peoples.

We acknowledge the land because we believe that healing begins by being seen. We are aware that this land was stolen from indigenous people, and we honor the people who still live here who have sustained much violence and have grown deeply resilient despite intended erasure and pressures to acculturate.

Acknowledgement can never undo hurt done but it is crucial. We are always learning and welcome any input to more accurately acknowledge this history and impact on today.

This is a great starting point for anyone seeking to understand the history of the land on which they reside.
